Hey family, I would like to speak on Revisiting that talent you were gifted with by GOD. I’m not talking about what your mentor said to do, not what a pastor told you, not what the life coach taught you, but what GOD GAVE YOU. That Gift you keep coming back to and it will not let you Rest.

For me, GOD showed me what I would do with the gift of creativity during childhood. GOD LET ME SEE THE VISION VIVIDLY IN MY DREAMS. I did not know what I was seeing. Also, I did not practice in my gifts during my childhood. My parents believed in getting a proper education, the church, and the corporate workforce. Do I believe my parents intentionally wanted me to not practice in my gifts? No, they were teaching me the safe route of life.

After college, I moved to Atlanta to begin the journey to work within my gifts. I didn’t get a chance to work within my creative gifts prior. So, I had to learn the skills of the Arts at grade school level. But, the gift of creativity still came natural to me. Why? Because, GOD had planted the Gift of creativity within me. There were times, I wouldn’t practice in my Gifts. Why? Because, I wasn’t on the level of my peers. Young, I did not know it was because I had to dust off the treasure chest box and play with my talents. When I moved to Los Angeles I started to gain confidence in my gifts. I begin to own my gifts ✍🏾. I had to leave familiarity to trust myself and the calling upon my life. Honestly, some days it’s difficult being away from home. But it was necessary for me to make the move to LA. Moving to LA allowed me to find my own voice without questioning my Gifts. I encourage others to do the same. Do what is needed of you to walk fully in your calling.

Revisit that gift that won’t let you rest. That’s the sweet side of life. This doesn’t mean it won’t be difficult to pursue, but it will be worth it. You just have to dust off the treasure chest box and get to work. Possibly Alone 😲. You may have to show people your results, before they are onboard. And remember it won’t happen overnight. You gotta go through trial and error. Also, if you practiced in your gifts years ago, but paused it. GOD will make you start from scratch again, because GOD wants you to learn how to waver the storm of your gifts. Once GOD KNOW you are capable and able to waver the storm of the calling in hibernation, everything else will fall in place. You won’t have to seek validation from others. The gift will get stronger and clearer. And you will know without anyone confirming that you are the GOAT at what you do. And you will be the GOAT, because GOD planted that gift inside of you to make the world a better place. You got this!
